The Sweetness Of Emabassy Suites

Hello once again web folk the last time I posted for the hotel blog I was talking about the rising prices of hotels in general and that if you were planning a trip anytime soon that you had better do your homework if you want to get the best deal. I wanted to continue that line of thinking for this post with a little bit of sharing time with our recent experience with a stay at an Embassy Suites.

I will start off by saying that over the ten plus years that my wife and I have been together that we have both come to a certain level of expectation when we decide to stay at a hotel. Of course when we are in a pinch we may allow for a nights stay at a less then standard room but for the most part we tend to plan accordingly and budget properly. With that said we have over the years come to enjoy the concept of the hotel suite or in this case the Embassy Suites. There is a level of comfort that we have come to enjoy when ever we travel as I am sure is the same for most of you.

The two things that my wife and I have really come to enjoy when ever we stay at an Embassy Suite are the manager’s drink special welcome from 5 to 7 for all guests. Which is a nice touch to get a free drink and and a quick snack like chips and pretzels at the end of a travel day. This last trip we all got some drinks, even our kids were able to order Shirley temple’s which they just loved being able to go up to the bar tender and ask for a drink. The we ordered a fresh pizza from the restaurant in the hotel and took it up to our room for dinner after the kids spent some time in the pool. It was a nice relaxing evening and one that we usually plan on while we are traveling allowing for time to get there at the right time to enjoy all the evening extras that are there.

The next morning of course is the second thing we love so much about staying at an Embassy Suite and that is the full service all you can eat breakfast. With a full working omelet bar and chef that prepares your breakfast how ever you want it is a stroke of genius really. We do pay a little bit extra in terms of price for the room which in this particular case was $125 for the night. When you take into consideration the extra gas and money we would have spent on driving around looking for a place to eat dinner and the breakfast the next morning. It is money well spent and even better than that it makes our travel experience more relaxing for the whole family. If you have never tried one of these hotels I would highly recommend that you book a room at the Embassy Suites the next time you are travelling and enjoy the extras.

Kudos to you peruser ;-)

Dave
